H.T. AUTOMATIC VOLTAGE REGULATOR STEP LESS LINEAR ROLLING CONTACT TYPE

RANGE: UP TO 15000 KVA IN 11 & 33 KV CLASS.
H.T. Automatic Voltage Stabilizers serve the purpose of stabilizing H.T. input voltage, independent of fluctuations received from electricity supply authorities. Furthermore, these stabilizers play a crucial role in preventing overload on transformers and other electrical equipment. They effectively handle a broad range of continuous voltage variations under load conditions.
Solid-state relays, operating on a 230 V, 110Ø supply, sense variations exceeding ±1% of the rated output voltage. These relays then transmit signals to the stabilizer's motor, initiating the roller mechanism's movement in both lower and higher directions. This action aims to bring the voltage back to the rated output within a range of ±1%. It's important to note that the accuracy of ±1% may vary based on the specific requirements of the customer.
H.T. Automatic Servo Voltage Stabilizers feature helical coils affixed to a traditional laminated core. Carbon rollers are arranged on a fiberglass carrier board and move along the length of the coil track. These rollers establish connections with the electrical output terminals. Adjacent to the regulating coil, several compensating windings are linked in parallel, with short circuits implemented to mitigate the impact of core-flux fringing. This design not only minimizes the reactance of the regulator at any position of the rolling contact but also helps maintain a constant reactance.
